Kuala Lumpur, 18 June 2025 – iCAUR Malaysia is breaking new ground as the first international market to preview the all-electric iCAUR 03 off-road SUV after its global debut in Shanghai. The model represents a significant milestone for Malaysia's EV landscape as the country's first fully electric off-road capable SUV.
Following its exciting debut at the Malaysia Autoshow 2025, media and the public can now experience the iCAUR 03's unique capabilities through the brand's iEXPERIENCE Off-Road Test Drive at 1 Utama, put through its paces on specially designed off-road course – where the iCAUR 03’s engineering prowess truly comes to life.

The iCAUR 03 makes an immediate statement with its i-BOX design language - angular lines, futuristic lighting signatures, and an imposing electric SUV stance that turns heads while hinting at its rugged capability.
Engineered for Any Terrain
At its core lies the iROAD system, offering up to 12 selectable all-terrain drive modes paired with a precision-engineered H-arm multilink rear suspension enhancing rugged durability and axle articulation. Meanwhile, the compact yet powerful 6-in-1 electric drive module—integrating the Motor Control Unit, Onboard Charger, and Converter—delivers smooth, responsive power and control, whether navigating city streets or tackling muddy trails.
Uncompromising Protection
The iCAUR 03 redefines EV protection with its revolutionary iCARE safety system, featuring Malaysia's first all-aluminum monocoque chassis and body. With an extraordinary 31,812 Nm/deg of torsional rigidity – surpassing many modern sports cars – the vehicle delivers exceptional crash protection, a weight reduction of 30%, whilst maintaining rugged durability.
Beyond the robust chassis, the iCAUR 03 incorporates an innovative 4-layer IPX8 battery armour system. This multi-tiered protection combines a 10mm hardened aluminium impact shield with a Mica ceramic thermal barrier capable of withstanding extreme temperatures exceeding 1000°C, plus dual additional protective layers for complete peace of mind in all driving conditions.
Immersive Technology
Moving inside, the iBRAND cockpit features a 15.6" central display and 9.2" instrument cluster powered by the intuitive i-VA interface, complemented by a 12-speaker INFINITY audio system and 540° Transparent Chassis camera for complete situational awareness.
Beyond its commanding stance, the iCAUR 03 is packed with advanced technology blending both form and function. From its bold i-BOX design language, iROAD system with six terrain modes and off-road optimised H-arm multilink rear suspension. Safety takes centre stage with the iCARE system and first-in-Malaysia all-aluminium EV SUV chassis and body reinforced by a cutting-edge 4-layer battery protection system. Meanwhile, its intuitive and immersive i-VA infotainment suite keeps you connected to the world while you explore into the uncharted.
The iCAUR 03 offers two distinct powertrain configurations to suit different driving needs. The iCAUR 03 2WD variant features a 135kW (184PS) electric motor delivering 220Nm of torque, combined with a 65.7kWh LFP battery for an NEDC-rated 426km range.
For enhanced performance, the iCAUR 03 Intelligent Wheel Drive (iWD) system upgrades to dual motors producing 205kW (279PS) and 385Nm, paired with a 69.8kWh battery offering 418km range (NEDC). This more powerful configuration provides superior traction across varied terrain while maintaining impressive range
Safety is a priority in the iCAUR 03, with Level 2.5 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) offering Emergency Lane Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Traffic Jam Assist for enhanced peace of mind.

The purpose-built off-road course at 1 Utama Shopping Centre defies expectations for an electric SUV—giving the public a thrilling taste of adventure, exactly where the iCAUR 03 excels.
The closed course consists of four unique challenges:
iSee-Saw
A sharply contoured ramp that lifts the vehicle on its two wheels, testing frame rigidity and axle articulation. The iCAUR 03 maintains balance and poise with ease.
iSlide
A steep climb showcasing the iCAUR 03’s impressive 55% gradeability rating followed by a controlled descent highlights its precise torque delivery, and intelligent braking control. Engineered for real off-road performance, its 28° approach and 32° departure angles further allow it to tackle tough terrain and clear obstacles with confidence.
iSplash
A 400mm-deep water course allows the iCAUR 03 to demonstrate its water-wading abilities—reminding drivers that electrification can still embrace the elements.
iBreaker
With three wheels placed on rollers and one on the ground, this challenge showcases the iWD system’s ability to direct torque to a single wheel with traction, powering the vehicle smoothly over the obstacle.
